Team wikis
A team whose plan includes Wiki has a wiki at /wiki (also Wiki in the team manager): pages its members write together, with every version kept.
The wiki is on when the team's plan includes it, its Zappocity add-ons don't remove it, and the team's owners and admins have not turned it off under Features and sharing (Features on for everyone). While it is off, webmail and the team manager show no Wiki link, settings or own address for it.
Reading and editing
- Members open
/wikisigned in to webmail; it shows their team's wiki. Anyone else uses the team's link,/wiki?team=TEAM-ID, which works for them when the wiki is public. - New page makes a page from its title. Edit changes one; add a note to say what changed.
- Pages are Markdown: headings, lists, bold,
code, tables, quotes.[text](page-name)links to another page of the wiki (a missing page offers Write it); other links can go only to web and mail addresses, and any HTML shows as text. - If someone saved the page while you were editing, your save is refused rather than overwriting theirs: copy your text, reload, and edit again.
- History lists every version with who saved it and their note; open one to read it, and Restore this version to make it the current one (as a new version).
Settings
In the team manager, the team page's Wiki card (corpsuite tenant wiki set TENANT public:=true editors=admins):
- Anyone can read it: makes the wiki public; only members edit.
- Who edits: every member (guests excepted), or only owners and admins.
Owners and admins can delete a page with its history. If the plan stops including the wiki, it is kept but not shown until it does again.
Addresses
A public wiki can be read at <team>.d.zappo.city when the platform sets Team sites under (teamSiteBase), and at a name on one of the team's own proven domains (team page → Forum and wiki addresses, corpsuite tenant sites set TENANT wikiHost=wiki.acme.com). Members edit at /wiki from webmail.
